Rokh of WoWtrade.dk is a slacker

Author: Anacondah

I’m not really joking. He is a goddamn slacker, here some facts about him:

-He never visits the board
-He gets postcount through the duplicate user system
-He doesnt really care about his staff, not replying anything (he doesnt even reply to insults)

So we thought, screw him. If he doesnt care about us, we dont care about him either, so we ditched maintenance on wowtrade.dk, he can go screw himself. I’ve left him with 4 options to go with:

1. He does not respond as usual and keep living the dream as a fuckhead administrator and make people think He is the biggest and greatest of us, but in fact, he isn’t doing shit, he’s just the retard webhost living the dream.
2. He responds nicely, and promotes one of us to Administrator with all the information that he needs for FULL RIGHTS of the website, able to install new addons, apply new templates, and make this community worth while.
3. He responds negatively, ban us all and find new moderators to do his dishes and live the same dream on and on with us giving negative influences to his website like anyone cares.
4. Same as point 2, but stopping the hosting of the domain and let us take it over.

So if anyone actually sells his accounts there still, stop, it is from now on really an unmoderated forum. Rokh has gone too far with 3 months of inactivity on the board, and not even leaving a message either.

Ciao!

Happy New Year!

And may luck cross your path in 2010 and in the years after! You might have read or heard this over a million time (happy new year) but yeah it would be strange if I didnt wish you all a happy new year (and yes I do, you’d have to thrust me in that ;).

This year is the year of the Tiger in china, here a little about it:

tiger

Tigers are sensitive, emotional and thoughtful persons. But they also tend to be impatient. Others pay them respect but they sometimes get into conflicts of authority with elder people. They sometimes delay important decisions which leads to the result that they often have to decide in a rash and hasty way.

But they also have the guts take risks and are very success- oriented. Tigers are distrustful but also stand for courage and fortitude. They are born leaders. Their matches are Horses, Dragons and Dogs.

And from wikipedia I found this bit of pretty thoughtful information:

2010 (MMX) is a common year starting on Friday, and is the current year. In the Gregorian calendar, it is the 2010th year of Anno Domini, or of the Common Era; the 10th year of the 3rd millennium and of the 21st century; and the 1st of the 2010s decade.

See that wikipedia link for the upcoming events for 2010, such as the World Expo in Shanghai on 1st of may, or the total solar eclipse on july 11th (south pacific only!/South America)
There is also a movie called 2010 that was released in 1984 in which is stated “The Year we make Contact” and is suprisingly a film about extraordinary life. Wether we will make contact to aliens (I believe there are aliens) but that is up to you if you get excited about this or not.

Very well, i’m going to stop writing before this post explodes, there is much to say about 2010, see for yourself, click here!

Holidays!

Author: Anacondah
I'm serious.

Congratulations! You survived as well! (so far)

Finally, rest and relaxation after MONTHS of hard work on projects at school and homework ofcourse. Week 51 (next week) still doesnt mean a holiday for everyone though. Our school is moving to a new building, and they need more time to deal with that so they kicked all students out or sent them out on excursion. LOL. Well, good for us I guess. Haha!

This holiday, a couple of friends and I are going to organize a great LAN party again. We did it in 2005, and we’ll be able to do it this time too; but Bigger! The place is about 1280 cubic meters where we want to go. It’s not yet certain if we want to go there, we’ll be seeing the place next monday morning.

Oh by the way. It’s in holland, so most people who read this won’t even be able to get there, but if you do live in holland, you can sign up to the list of people interested by sending an email with your name, city, phone number (optional), and there is a payment in advance of €15,- which will be partially given back, the more people come. The duration is 2 full days, from the early morning to the next day, late in the evening. If you’re new to LAN parties just bring that with your email and i’ll send you some things you need there.

We have to pay off the place. It will cost an estimated €250,- so if there are 25 people coming (thats the minimum we want) everyone will be paying 10 euros and you will be returned €5,- . if more people come, the more money will be sent back, so bring friends. LOTS of them. ;)

A Job in a Crisis!

Author: Anacondah

Hey there visitors. I know it’s a really hard-to-do situation right now, with this crisis thing and all, but I didn’t have ANY trouble finding the perfect job for some reason. It’s only parttime, that might explain. I’m the refiller boy at a local marketplace for building materials, pays decent, at least enough to be paying my school well enough.

As you might have known i’m studying at the University of Applied Knowledge called Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden. Which is ofcourse in Leeuwarden. In short terms, i’m trying to become someone who can draw constructions, do the calcs, and if all goes well, i’ll be studying robotics, and programming bots. I posted this before a long time ago too i remember.

Returning to the topic at hand, the crisis is stuck to everyone, but most of the people wont notice a thing, i can keep jabbering about how it is, but in short terms it just sucks for the world, because people get kicked to bottomless pits everyday because of the crisis. (or is it just a great reason for companies to fire people?)
As I got a job, I bought myself a new laptop for my studies, and it was a ‘hourly’ cheap offer from a store out in town, with which you have to get it between 2 and 3 o’clock for example. What I found there, there was a line of at least FIFTY people standing in line to give out approximately $720/550eu. I’ve never seen so many people standing in line to spend so much money. Ah well, not of my concern at all, but it’s just a bit extra funny, because WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE CRISIS ?

Maybe the people think a beer will make the red numbers disappear. (It’s true, but only temporarily)

The People Nowadays.

Author: Anacondah

The many times I complained, the few times I said something good about people’s general behaiviour. My most dearest readers, I like to complain and criticize other things and even myself, why not. And ofcourse we all know there is no such thing as perfect. Pick one out of a million people and he will definiately have -some- kind of malfunction on him.

That is probably why mankind is getting really complicated. When you are born, you learn to deal with physics, and when you grow older you’ll learn about math and study about all kinds of things. But when you reach a certain point of age, you’ll understand that this world is pretty chaotic, because alot of people live on doing crimes or being permanently ill in some way (or accidently) and do whatever the hell they want.

But here’s the annoying part: Life isn’t long enough to make a difference to any of that. That means that <1% of the actions of a common person’s life will determine how the world will be,For example donating to a good goal, and atop that about 35% will be useful for the human causes a common person will work for, for example: making a difference in a company by inventing something useful, or by making the right decisions for a certain community/company, or changing some other person’s life. The rest of your life is for sleeping, eating, and things you normally do (e.g.: Going out, reading a news paper, etc).

Now only if you’re clever enough you can be one of those people who bring up that number of the amount of people that change the world. Let me inspire you and challenge you, practically try to go as far as you can in life, even though its hard, weird, or even dangerous, try your best, and you’ll see that it pays off, and that it wasn’t that hard to come real far. Be one of the big examples man, the world needs more good examples, you are one of the people who can still make a big difference, and try to be as uncommon as possible!

Can you imagine that bill gates was one of those people who invented the common business workstation (Windows) and shifted the world in a better (or worser) direction. For every 500.000 people on the world, one of them will become famous. Another 10 become known, but not famous(James Bond actors for example). and another 500 will be seen in any spotlight at least once in their life. These calculations (or rather, guesses) are from my own experience, when people pay attention to something that others don’t even mention about, you come with tonns of useless but pretty cool facts.

SELL! SELL! SELL!!!

Author: Anacondah

The economic crisis. You know, that thing that happens when lots of companies become (nearly) broke. What does it do to you ?
The economic crisis is underestimated. If you are having a hard time, try selling things you won’t probably be using for a year. Your study laptop, your old books, your world of warcraft account (because you can’t afford paying another month for it)…

Lately there has been an EXPLOSION of new advertisements and even the World of Warcraft site added some advertisements on their site. Check http://www.wow-europe.com/account if the management pages are down. you’ll see it’s there and weird enough its a gold selling advertisement! (ROFL!!!) will add screenshot later, didnt printscreen it but i knew i should have.

Here is a personal message to advertising companies.
STOP INFECTING WEBSITES WITH FLASHING, DISHONEST, AND SOUNDED ADVERTISEMENTS, or i’ll use my nuclear warhead i built in the backyard, on you. (As an addition, i made it before the economic crisis. :P)

Everyday i browse the internet, 99% of all the advertisements i see, have things that’s too good to be true, and that way to advertise is just boring me out, im sorry guys but its true that nobody actually reads them, personally i just click everything away that i don’t expect to see. For example, a new window appears on the start bar when im normally browsing the forum or such.

Good luck with that.

I’m now on Eve Online

Author: Anacondah

REVIEW

My current occupation is EVE online, a MMO which involves a huge universe, with many regions, with even more solarsystems, and even MORE planets, with even MORE moons and asteroid belts.

What i like about it is because it’s maturely played. There is not much space for little kids who don’t understand alot of things yet, its a matter of growing until you understand the playstyle.

You won’t find 12-year old kids playing this game. At around 20 years old you will find people but even more people are about 30- 40 years old.

The game is based on corporations which you need to manage. If you are an employee or manager, what you do has alot to do with the future on the corp, and there is a wide range of options in what your corp does for living. Examples:

-Ratting (shooting out the self-manufactured CPU drones in solarsystems for other corps)
-Mining (totally mine out asteroid belts with a wide variety of ore types)
-Researching (Improving blueprints to optimize efficiency of the blueprint that manufactures)
-Inventing (Improving blueprints so they fall in the new tier of the item. a Gun I changes to Gun II for example.)
-PVPing (Attack, Defend, Hold, and Patrol the spaces of your corp or another’s corp)
-Refining (Make useable ore out of the mined rocks from asteroid belts)
-Chemistry (Create reactions between mined moon ores)
-Creation of Drugs (for implants)

I think the game is really enjoyable because in low security space you can have your own piece of space in a game.

Stopped Playing WoW

Author: Anacondah

As a official announcement i’ve stopped playing World of warcraft at this time. I have 6 accounts or so in total, i have put them all to a stop because it seems i’ve lost my interest in WoW.

I was really annoyed by the gold spammers, beggars, but also that PVP is really screwed in WoW. Can you imagine, that people don’t help eachother in PVP alot (there are a few people who actually help other people in the same alliance) and the people on the same alliance don’t help others in that alliance.

I can go on whining about this for years, but i’ve had alot of fun with WoW when i was still a bit younger. I’m getting older and I can notice that the game is becoming too immature for me.

The future’s above our head

Author: Anacondah

We all know that UFO sightings on this planet is fake. Can you agree with me, that UFO’s on this planet is 1 out of a BILLION chance that they appear right on this planet of all those Gazillion other planets, out of Millions of Solarsystems ?

When you look up into the sky when you’re outside and waiting, you can come across all kinds of things.

Northern Lights

Falling Stars

Illusionary Lights in the sky…

Yes- that’s right. Did you ever thought about it that ever since we are becoming more and more advanced, the UFO sightings and crashes have been reduced? Look at this website and scroll down:
http://www.burlingtonnews.net/ufocrashes.html

You can see the difference between the amount of reports every 10 years. There’s been tonns of reports mostly in 1950’s and 1970’s, and the suspected crashing has suddenly dropped down from about 30 crashes every 10 years to 5 crashes every 10 years ? I say lol.

People were just worried, that there are other things in the universe. I can agree with them, but not that they have ever been near or on our planet. The only thing that’s ever been on this planet is US.
Now i’m not a fan of intergalactic nerd stuff, but believe me, we are stuck on this planet and it’s a time bomb. The earth’s been circling around for 4.540.000.000 Years now, and is expected to last for about 1.500.000.000 years, after which the rising luminosity of the Sun will eliminate the biosphere. (source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/specials/washington_2000/649913.stm)

While we enjoy ourselves with spoils of human pleasure, there’s still work to be done. Here an official request from me: Make babies, and produce LOTS of them. You never know one of them might just build a ship in their backyard and be the first to say “screw you guys, i’m taking my wife to another galaxy.”

No but seriously, economics is a big part for the progression of our existence, but it is also a reason for other people (who’re not so into science and don’t enjoy life as it should) to become a criminal and yet again, as i said before, ruin other people’s lives by stealing, destroying and corrupting other people’s lives.

To put a dot behind this story, the conclusion is practically, the more criminals the longer we will take to invent and produce ships, stations, and ways for people to survive out in space. Because space is the ultimate freedom, if you put criminals there, we’d be safe. Otherwise we have to keep them in prison!
